This new study used a mix of pesticides found on farms to show that it is a mix of pesticides, and not just individual pesticides, that cause frog mortality and sex changes. Current pesticide regulations test pesticides individually for effects on biota. This study mimics conditions found more in the current environment. Read the article, I think that you will be surpised at just how drastic the effects are.
One of the chemicals used int he study, Atrazine, is banned in Europe, butt is found in our ground water, streams and ponds.
