Analysis: Plain soap as effective as antibacterial but without the risk

A team from the University of Michigan School of Public health examined 27 studies conducted between 1980 and 2006 on anti-bacterial and plain soaps. The conclusion: both soaps are effective, but plain soap comes without the risk of making harmful bacteria resistant.

Air pollution leads to low birth weight

A study conducted by the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and the Yale School of Medicine correlates high ambient air pollution levels with low birth weight. The study was conducted in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Urban air pollution's health effects worse than Chernobyl

According to a study completed in the U.K.
