Analysis: Plain soap as effective as antibacterial but without the risk
A team from the University of Michigan School of Public health examined 27 studies conducted between 1980 and 2006 on anti-bacterial and plain soaps. The conclusion: both soaps are effective, but plain soap comes without the risk of making harmful bacteria resistant.
