Society of American Foresters accredits educational programs in Urban Forestry

SAF has just released a revised accreditation document that includes urban forestry programs, in addition to more traditional forestry and forest ecology programs. The documents lays out standards for university forestry and urban forestry programs in the United States. A university that does not meet accreditation standards for the traditional forestry tract CAN fulfill requirements for the urban forestry tract.
