3,000 DNA samples will be gathered and banked during the next three years.
The University of Michgan, Yale University, Harvard University, Boston University, Columbia University, Washington University, the University of Washington, the University of Illinois-Chicago, Emory University, McGill University in Montreal and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) are all participating in the study.
This study could really help to determine the causes, which should help to come up with better treatment options for patients with autism.
