Another blow to Intelligent Design: Leptin in Frogs
The hormone, leptin, controls both appetite and limb development in frogs. How could some chemical control both processes and be intelligently designed? What happens in the absence of the hormone? Wouldn't an intelligent designer make limbs grow or control appetite with more than one chemical so that if one fails the whole system does not fail?
