Ok, now what? The administration 'focus' (of their rhetoric, at least) has been on hydrogen fuel cells and hybrid cars, both of which still rely on fossil fuels (there was a more recent article on this, but I don't remember where I saw it). There are many other alternatives. I also remember seeing a documentary in high school about an ultra-light, highly fuel-efficient car developed during the the oil crisis of the 70s, but the company never got to market it before the crisis ended. I think it was Volvo, but even Google fails to help me turn up answers. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Anyone?
