Flooding the world over
In Eastern Europe and Colombia, where 29 bodies have been found so far after a huge mudslide swept away several villages. Meanwhile, in the Northeast, it seems as if this is one of the driest Aprils we've ever had (check out the map).
Founded in Boston, MA in 1998, the Urban Ecology Institute (UEI) and its community and educational partners have been improving the health of urban ecosystems through education, research, and community action. Our mission is to help urban communities build healthy, vibrant cities by educating residents about their environment, connecting them to each other, and engaging them in the transformation of their neighborhoods where people love to live.
