You know, I once tried to tell a girl about electronegativity on our first date, and you know what she said? "Baby, I just don't know if I am ready for all of these changes to my electron configuration." I shouldn't have used a word with "-negativity" in it! Doh! She just didn't feel comfortable enough to come out of her electron shell...
(Do you have any idea how hard it was not to make that last paragraph dirty?!)
Anyway, Japan is distributing a free science magazine aimed at the younger crowd and hopes that they will spark discussions on dates and lead to an increased interest in science. This sounds like an amazing idea. It'd even be cool to make a humanities mag.
