Nuisance urban seagulls in Scotland

Lots of money spent on report, still no solution to problem. Hmmmm... maybe there is a student research project that could come out of this. Why is overpopulation of seagulls a problem? What has lead seagulls to become overabundant if they indeed are? What are the symptoms? Why do people complain? What can people do about it? Can they change their behavior?

I am a final year environmental health student undertaking a project about nuisance urban gulls.

I want to map the problem across the uk, identify Local Authorities with policies, and look into different control methods.
