The Quequechan River Festival is this Sunday, September 24, 12-5 p.m. atBritland Park, end of Seventeenth Street behind the Fall River PoliceDepartment which fronts 685 Pleasant Street. Parking is available at theend of Wordell Street (off Plymouth Avenue between Burger King and HoneyDew Donuts).
Volunteers are needed to coordinate and monitor events and activities. Volunteers are asked to meet at the park at 10:00 a.m. Firsttime volunteers welcomed
The Quequechan River Festival is part of a larger educational andadvocacy effort to restore the abused Quequechan River and its urbanwatershed, realize bicycle and walking paths along the river and therestoration (daylighting) of the river's falls.
