Fire Season

For yet another summer, the Western U.S. is ablaze and every homeowner that has built their house on a powder keg (i.e., Pine Forest) expects local, state, and federal fire crews to protect them. Nature is indeed difficult to fight, but by supressing fire these past 50 years we've really screwed ourselves. Many forests still have years of accumulation fuel in their underbrush.
