Now sludge is for fightin' over

Treated sludge from L.A. vs. Kern County residents. Kern County residents don't want anymore treated sludge dropped over their fields and are just pretty dern tar'd of the big city bully next door. There is even controversy over dumping of trash in the Kern County desert, which would be very slow to decay and probably get blown around in the wind.

Kern County voters are expected to ban the sludge dumping, but the county will probably face a lawsuit after the initiative is passed because they have not been able to link the treated sludge to any health problems.
