Coca reduction: questioning the data

A prominent GOP senator is questioning some inconsistencies with coca production and domestic supply data that the White House has recently been touting as successes in this phase of the drug war, Plan Colombia. The six-year program has already cost $4 billion.

If supply and quality of cocaine has gone down recently, I wonder what the data looks like for other drugs that have been gaining popularity, such as Crystal Meth (which has hit rural America like crack hit out cities in the 80s. Meth has also been spreading to cities like crazy).
