Sewer pipeline ruptures in Honolulu
48 million gallons of raw sewage spilled into the Pacific Ocean due to flooding and a rupture in one of the main pipes that was built in the 1960s. We have an aging infrastructure in this country that will soon need to be upgraded! You've been warned! Upgrades could lead to less waste, better treatment, and responsible use.
