House of the Future Runs on Spinach?

It's pie-in-the-sky, of course (could you imagine one of these actually being built, let alone a whole community of them), but the take-away point here is that this house produces more energy than it consumes, and gives back to the grid. As it is written: "This radical shift, from centralized energy systems today, fosters community interdependence as neighbors benefit from the resources of others." Wow.
