Pergrine Falcons at the University of Michigan's Burton Memorial Bell Tower
Not a common site in Michgan, a pair of Pegrine Falcons have made the carillon their home. University officals have temporarily stopped the daily performances at the tower and have contacted local Audobon officals to determine whether or not the music will affect the birds. This is quite a treat! Lately, urban Red-tailed hawks have been getting all of the news in New York and Boston, but yet we see that another bird of prey has adapted to urban areas.
