Hybrid Fuel Cells

The DoD has been working on using several species of bacteria in a hybrid fuel cell that could power robots. Of course, the civilian applications could be endless. Maybe if they spent more time working on projects like this, we would not be in such, shall I say, precarious situations in certain sand-rich regions of the world.
