Coyote in midtown New York
The case of the urban coyote is only a mystery to the author of this article. As researchers from Boston College have shown, urban coyotes appearing in the city is not as uncommon as one would believe. In fact, coyotes are highly adaptable to urban habitats. Maybe the LA Times or AP should have consulted some experts before jumping to conclusions and calling this the case of the "Wily Coyote."
