Fewer wetland birds migrating to UK
Fewer wetland birds are returing to the UK after the winter, preferring to stay in their Artic breeding grounds, which have experienced much warming in recent years. Not only do these birds eat fish and invertebrates in wetlands, their feathers are also instrumental in spreading fish eggs and other water-borne eggs to different water bodies.
