More reasons to not use antibacterial soap

All of us that know a thing or two about natural selection already know that antibacterial soap leads to the prevalence of supergerms (or antibiotic-resistant bacteria). There is also a problem of its active ingredient, triclosan, when it mixes with tap water. When triclosan mixes with the chlorine from tap water, it produces a carcinogenic substance called chloroform, which could be absorbed through the skin or inhaled. Read a summary of the study here. And start using regular soap again.

If supergerms don't get people's attention, I hope chloroform will.
